Pictures from the camp out can be seen by clicking on the photos link to the left. The temperature reached 14 degrees during the night. Everyone survived and the weekend competition resulted in the "Souba-Goubas" taking home 1st place.
Wednesday Night Holiday Schedule
Our holiday schedule gets a little bonkers with all the events that happen through the end of November and December. In case you have any questions about youth on any particular Wednesday Night here is the place to check.
November 19th: Youth Meets
November 26th: no youth. (Thanksgiving)
December 3rd: Youth Meets
December 10th: no youth. (Merry Christmas NC rehearsal).
December 17th: Youth Meets
December 24th: no youth (Christmas Eve)
December 31st: no youth (New Year's Eve)
Once January starts we will be back on schedule and continue to gather every Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. Topics we will be covering throughout the first semester of the new year include: Friends, Dating, and one of my favorites, Self-Image.
Welcome to the New Website
This is our new website. There are still a few things we are working on, so if something looks a little funny just check back in the next few days and it will hopefully have been fixed. There are some new pictures from the East Davidson Homecoming Parade. Also each Sunday school class now has their own portion of the website under the Sunday School section. Camp Out: November 21st & 22nd
Our camp out this year is going to be November 21st-22nd. It is for grades 7th-12th and will cost $20 per person. This camp out will take place at the Driggs' house, just like the past 3 years.
Once everyone arrives at the camp out the students will divide into teams that will be competing in various survival competitions throughout the weekend. Each team will be given a bag of supplies and will compete it building a shelter, starting a fire, building a stretcher, and many other challenges. Each team will be awarded points based on their performance. The winning team will have bragging rights until next year.

It is going to be cold so dress warm and bring a very good sleeping bag.
If you have a tent it would be very helpful if you could bring it with you.
