I have no idea what we will do for a video next year.

I have this friend that amazes me. His drive to study Scripture is amazing. A few weeks ago I was sitting in a bible study when I heard this friend being to discuss the first few books of Genesis. I was absolutely amazed by the level of study and questioning that had been put into these few verses. What amazes me even more is that I am sitting across the room as a person who’s job it is to study the bible and this ‘average joe’ is blowing me away with his level of expertise. The first thing that crossed my mind was, where did he get all this from?
A few nights later I was amazed to find the answer to that question. We where sitting at his dinning room table in discussion over those few passages in Genesis when he said the magic words, “Hold on, let me go get something.” This was it the magic moment when he would return to the table with a stack of expensive books. To my amazement my friend walks back in the room with a laptop and his study bible.
It was one of those “oh yeah” moments as my friend re-taught me how to dig into scripture with a few of the many free resources available online and a study bible. So as I was reminded few weeks ago I would like to pass on to you many of those same resources that can help you dig in:

Sunday Mornings in December we will be studying the first 3 books of Genesis. The inspiration came form my conversations with this friend.
